Becoming a steward

I would absolutely love to become a steward in Croke Park! It's something I've wanted to do for ages and now I feel that I can give the time required.

Does anybody know how you become one? Also, once you've sent an application do you get a reply soon after?

Can you volunteer at every match, including All-Ireland finals?

Does anybody have any personal experience of being a steward?

    Go raibh míle maith agaibh!:)

All the info you need is here -> http://www.crokepark.ie/careers/stewarding/voluntary-stewards-progamme

Looks like they recruit people around January/February.

My friend was a steward for all Munster hurling Championship games and the All-Ireland quarter finals and for nearly all of them, he was stationed outside the ground and missed most of the match.

back in the day you didnt have to do much

i know a chap who had a friend a steward in Croker and for quite a number of years he could get in to see the big games for free with the help of his friend who only had to get him a jacket to throw over his shoulders and that was that

not sure he ever so much as showed anyone to their seat!
