Hang tough until Halloween -the 2euro shops get great props (crows, rats etc) that are quite large and great quality, cant beat that price and there will be LOADS of them. I held a huge Halloween event last year and the 2euro shop was great for bits.

A very cheap way to do chains that look great and wont cost the earth (plus are light for hanging).. Go to your nearest hardware shop / Plumbing shop, ask for a few metres of grey sponge pipe insultation. Its about a euro a metre. Cut this width ways into little rings. The foam is prescored so just seperate, link into the next ring and secure with a small bit of tape. Simple but effective, you'll get metres of chains for only a few euro.

Have a great time - if you are looking to purchase some props etc I have boxes of stuff. You can PM me if you like.. have fun!

    Hi Plek trum

Ohh im so excited about it, sad really I just love the decorating, I hope we get a few more callers this year now as I saw I do it for the kids not for myself haha...

Can i wait this long to get to 2 euro store, I know in fairness they are great for there bits even christmas I finally got my own place to decorate and got loadsa things from 2 euro store really nice quality...But I have the thoughts in my head already.

I might be interested in a few props alrite if you are willing to part with them.

I think i may try my hand at paper mache again but for inside stuff only as it defianlty rains to much here for outdoor (well as far as my experience goes)... I tried a few of these the first year round http://www.stolloween.com/ his pumpkins looked great until the rain started.....
