Sorry if this sounds like a strange question but I would really like to work in the Airport.

I have very good customer service and used to dealing with the public. How would I apply or who do I apply to? Are there agencies involved?

Any help is very much appreciated please

Look for career opportunities on www.daa.ie, or with any of the Irish airlines.

Any area in particular you are interested in? Try the DAA website, I see they are looking for graduates at the moment.

    DAA Careers

Is it a job on a check in desk you have in mind? If that's the case you should check the websites for all the airlines who operate out of EIDW.

If you really want a job, send a CV and a cover letter expressing your interest to the DAA and the airlines, you never know, a speculative application might catch their attention.

Check-in desks are becoming a thing of the past, what with Ryanair doing away with them and Aer Lingus more or less the same.:(

not too sure about Aer Lingus getting rid of check in desks. They use more than half of the terminal 2 desks in the morning and there is still a queue. I am sure they would close them if they could but it might be a way off yet. :p

Here in Cork there is very little usage of desks by Aer Lingus, mainly the one desk for bag and tag, nearly everyone checking in on line or at the kiosk's. Not haveing a T/A service makes a difference, unlike Shannon where EI have a raft of desks on the go.
