    Hello all you wonderful people,
At the risk of being called a glutton or maneater, what have you, I'm gonna go unregistered.
Ok, so. Met a lovely guy the other night whilst out on the town. I ask for his number. And he gave it willingly. :) Anywho, I texted him and he asked me out. So good sign! We have a date on Friday.
Any tips on the first date for a girl?

Good to hear a girl who's not afraid to make the first move. Hear all too often of girls who wouldn't dream of it because it's the guys duty. Guys can be just as shy/oblivious so if more girls were like you we'd all be a lot happier.

As for the date, just take it easy. Try and be natural. Despite what some people say, I think cinema is a great first date. Gives you a chance to get comfortable with someone without having to rely on conversation and that comfort means the conversation can flow a little easier when you go for some dinner or drinks afer.

    Good luck.

    Thanks for the response guys..

We ended up rescheduling to yesterday over work etc.
Well, it was fabulous. We got on well, good bit in common!
At the end, we hugged, I went to kiss him on the cheek(my rule on the first date) when he went for the kiss, so we know he likes me !
I later told him I had a great time and we should do it again. He said "Definately, When are you free"
    So.....date no 2 coming up :)

^ Sunflower - You made me LOL . Youve done well !

    Yep dinner!! (Pyschic much!)
Determined not to mess this up - he's a real catch and he seems to be oblivious to that fact.
So I'm detemined to see where it leads and restrain myself from any "girl crazy" :L
For example, Im trying to lessen the texting as Ive had bad experiences and wanna try a different way.
Im also gonna think about what I say/accuse before I say it/accuse it.

    Fingers crossed!

Why would you be accusing him of anything?
