iPad 3G...if bought in US...will it work here?

    The title says it all.....I may have the option of getting an iPad in the US...if I go for the 3G model, will it work here (assuming I get a SIM card etc)?

    Well 3g is universal so if you can get your SIM changed to use a compatible Irish SIM you should be good to go. Wifi would probably be the cheaper option,3g rates can be expensive

    It will work but don't buy the Verizon model as it doesn't take a SIMM, buy the A T & T model and it will work here.

    As the previous poster said, you need to buy the AT&T model in the United States. The Verizon model will not work here.

    As long say you do that you will be grand. The charger supports voltages between 100 and 240 volts.
