camcorder avi

    Hi..just wondering if there is a budget camcorder...(300ish) that will record in avi format or do they all record in .mov..using adobe premiere LE and it only likes .avi... thanks

    I think avi is a broad term covering a few different standards. I also think most record in one of the mpeg formats. Haven't seen any that record in mov.


    At worst you could convert it into avi but I'd be very surprised in première LE wouldn't take mpeg.
