Can't wait for all the human rights discussion 24/7. "Did you know about the stadiums and the workers DB? Oh that's just awful". And your newly emerged experts who will just about know that Ireland aren't in it from their friend Carmel who's big into the football.

Will be the best month of our lives.

Lads, Zeb Colter is currently cutting the hedges outside my house :D

Or at least, a guy with an identical hairstyle and handlebar moustache. Too afraid to try sneaking a picture though; he is a former Sergeant in the Irish army...and is currently wielding a chainsaw...

Dang. Is http://touch.boards.ie an option for you?

Honestly, never liked the look of m.boards, preferred the touch site on my phone.

I use a HTC desire phone atm. Touch is way to Facebooky for my liking, it doesn't seem to work very well. The mobile site is text based without icons and stuff so much easier to fly through. Will probably end up using the full site if I have to.

I usually like to drink a can of Monster rehab. Tea & lemonade, it's quite nice.

My head is hopping. A dark room and some wrestling fixes it for me.

I'm pro active regarding hangovers. Usually have a pint of water/lucozade sport before bed. Haven't had a bad hangover in about 2 years!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,990 ✭✭✭✭Lithium93_

7up with Orange Juice works well for hangovers, works for me anyway

Some fresh air, Panadol and Lucozade has me somewhat right. When will someone invent a beer that gives no hangovers

So, United got Van Gaal, who'll take over after the World Cup.

A bit pessimistic about their chances of missing out on 4th spot tbh.

Ah its early days, lets see who he and Woodward can bring in and see who else is out the door. With Vidic, Ferdinand and Giggs gone, along with Evra possibly, United will be void of alot of experience.

He favors young, fast players who can keep possesion and beat defenders. Be interesting to see who he favours. Mata, Kagawa or Felliani arent the quickest so it will be interesting to see who he brings in.

If Luke Shaw signs I think he will progress well under LVG. He tends to give youth a go, so a few youngsters could get a chance.

I think his relationship with Rooney will be key. LVG is a known man for discipline and I dont know why but I can see him and Rooney clashing eventually.

I think signing Rooney to a long contract last year was a bad move in the long run and I think we should of got rid.

Would love to see Cleverley, Carrick, Nani, Valencia and Welbeck out the door.

I have to say I hate the soccer forum on Boards. I much rather post here about Soccer as the majority of posters in there go on like petty 8 year olds. Everyone trying to get one up on each other is just sad and every thread seems like an arguement rather than a discussion and the amount of people intentionally trying to piss eachother off is awful.

It just makes me appreciate PW boardsies so much more, dont ever change you guys.

I know this will come across as arse kissing and I swear it isn't. Well, not totally ;)

But I do believe this is one of the best moderated forums I've ever been on, and that the community on here is fantastic. I've been part of many forums over the years, wrestling related and not, other sections of boards.ie included, and they nearly always are full of trolls, joke accounts, bickering idiots and the likes. And it's not that the mods in other sites are bad; I've befriended many and it's a tireless, difficult job. And a hard one.

So I always appreciate the fact that for the most part, this particular board isn't full of those sorts of people. This place, this specific subsection of this site, is a real bastion of friendliness for me, a place I know I can retreat to when I have to deal with life and just know it's 100% safe.

So yeah. Thanks mods and posters. Thank you :)

*looks at what boards I moderate...thinks diplomatically*

    at times I really agree

Venturing onto non-PW forums on boards I'm periodically reminded that people are MUCH snarkier and sometimes post to immediately disagree with what you say. Without sounding soppy I'm extremely grateful for our community here, to be able to chat about PW, TV, you name it! :)
