    About to embark on the long road to getting planning permisson in Mayo(Near ballintubber, wesport side).

    Attended a preplanning meeting
    Submitted an outline planning permisson application
    Got approval to submit a full planning application for a bungalow house.

    Next step - I need an architect!!

    Short of sticking a needle in a phone book under architects.
    Can anyone recommend one they have had exprience using doing something similar? (Westport/Castlebar area)

    Also need to get a percolation test done accourding to the outline permission. Who does these & what is the current cost?? (Engineer/Architect/Builder)

    Trying to make the process as painless as possible.

    Few I have heard are good are <SNIP>. Have a look in the Mayo News, I have seen both advertise in there.
