What do I need to budget for?

Okay, so I'm starting college this year. I'm commuting every day, travel expenses are already sorted. What else do I need to budget for? My parents will help with registration, there's really no way I can pay for it myself. But I'm hoping to hold down a 15 hour job during the year, giving me monthly income of about €141. I was thinking Semester 1 is going to be hella expensive with books and whatnot.. but how much do people think I'll need? I'm hoping to study Medicine by the way, and I've already started contacting people about what books to get and where, for a good saving :) I'd also like to save a bit every month and work longer hours during the summer to save for accommodation. How much do people reckon I should put aside? Any advice is appreciated - I've never had to budget like this before even though I've worked since I was 16 and it's also my first experience of being paid monthly.

different books will be used in second semester aswell so keep an eye out for them. check the book depository for discounts.
you should put aside money for food and tea and whatnot. its not the dearest thing but you'd be better off setting money aside for it just in case.
not sure how much. that depends on what you eat really :p
refil pads/hardbacks and stationary will be needed. about €20.
if you print anything from the computers you have to get print credit in the library. €5 would last you a good while!
oh and if you go on to bank of irelands website there a section there that allows you make a proper budget and shows you how much everything will cost and how much of your budget will be left so you wont overspend :)
