Hi, picked up a new Dboys PDW from a retailer about 3 weeks ago and since then ive brought it to a site with me and got it chronoed at around .7J but i was at home and plinking with it. And for some reason the bbs are getting jammed in what i think is the hop up. I recently got a new systema hop up rubber installed in it. If that was installed wrong could that be the cause of the jamming?

What BBs are you using? And is the barrel clean?

Im using Blaster .23's. The barrel is clean, i thought that might of been the problem at first but i cleaned it and nothing changed.

Blaster's migth be your problem, try a different brand. if it keeps up just bring it back, it's only 3 weeks old.

Yeah sure ill try a different brand. It wouldn't be something to do with the hop up rubber being fitter wrong would it?

well it would cause some problems yes but you say you got it installed which i can only assume was done by someone that knew what they were doing so...
I'd say it's like what Lefty said, the BB's, have you got a tighbore barrel installed?

as said, try different bb's....but I do have a stupid q for you, have you got the Hop-up turned all the way on??? If so, that could be causing your low fps and jamming issues.

Remember also, unless the chrono is set for heavier bb's, it will give you reading's for .2g's or whatever the site have it set to. The more you engage the hop, the slower your bb will also travel.

sci ops i had the same problem myself with the hop up turned fully on.. that gun is now being currently fixed again.
and i also had put a new rubber in( i didnt but got it fitted)
low quailty bbs or a badly fitted rubber is probly your problem.

The inner space for the hopup is.very tight on the Pdw. It may be something not install back in correctly. The blasters I used all the time with mine were fine. Bring it back to whoever installed the tb.
