First off, is there any special reason you're considering Saorsat over Saorview?

    High Definition(HD) satellite receiver (RX)

    No Saorsat approved receivers yet.

At this point in time the potential receivers are not an issue as any DVB-S2 receiver would work apart from Sky boxes. The real issue is that the Ka band LNB needed to pick up Saorsat is not on the market - yet.

At some undefined point in the future Ka band LNBs will come on the market in Ireland at least.

Would these LNB's pick up the KA-Band signal from 9°e?
KA/KU Band LNB from ebay US

And if so, has anyone relatives/friends from the us coming home soon?:D

No, they're wholly ill-suited to reception of Saorsat, even for experimental purposes. If you're interested in test transmission and can't wait for proper Ka-LNBFs to arrive, then the Hughesnet LNBs are the cheapest and most suitable of what's currently available.

    Thanks for advice, Apogee.
Will wait then 'til Ka-band Lnbs become widely available.
