Anyone any tips on how to keep my head still when teeing off? Not happy with a 1001 thoughts going through my head when I step to the ball, I now realise that I struggle to keep my head still.

    How is it done??

You must think of the cause of the head movement. Concentrating on not moving the head may help, but if the body is swaying the head will obviously follow. Head movement is usually a symptom of another problem, such as swaying. Another oft heard remark is when a player raises his shoulders on the downswing to create more room to hit the ball, he then hits a poor shot and the wise players around him tell him he lifted his head, "stop lifting your head" is the useless advice offered when the head is just following the body. The same if your head is moving toward or away from the target during the backswing or downswing you should realise it is your body that is moving, the head is just following, it isn't likely to be leading the movement. Stop swaying during the swing and your head will stop moving. Perhaps you need to rotate more during the swing, but its impossible to say without seeing the swing.

lift your head as high as possible while still looking at the ball.
Then you cant lift it while swinging ! -sounds stupid, but it works great to keep slow and still.

Keep your head down or still must be the worst advice/drivel spoken in relation to a golf swing. Keeping your head still is more beneficial when putting alright as your body is not in motion but on a full swing your head follows the rest of your body. If you sway your body your head will also sway and if your head height changes then it means that your body is also moving up and down. The simplest way I think of looking at it is to imagine that when you are setting up to the ball that is more or less your impact/hitting position. The less moving parts you have the easier it is to get back to that position as a few mm's can make all the difference. It's all about the turn and coil of your big muscles, legs and resistence in your core muscles that will help create swing speed, not by using your arms.
As for keeping your head down, try turning so as your shoulders go to about 90 degrees with your chin on your chest. You will find it very hard as you have now become "stuck". You have to have room to swing and turn.
