First Installment of maintenance grant

    Anyone have an idea when we recieve our first installment of the maintenance grant? Waiting for it to cover my fees.

    normal ones, I know I only have to pay 72 euro, but last year, I didn't get my grant til paddys day so would be nice to know when I'm actually supposed to be getting it

    ahh i see. last year there was serious delays with grant applications. this year, it has been slightly re-structured, and online applications are being processed in a central location, so it gives the local vecs more breathing room to process applications.

    no one has a set time frame as of yet, but it "should" be a hell of a lot quicker than last year.

    I'm with Cork County VEC so mine was automatically renewed *^_^*, but thanks all the same. I just hope I don't get it paddy's day again, though it made a lot of bars happy ;)

    It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
