They have a sale on at the moment. Just wondering if anyone's used their bar. €270 for the set. Hopefully it's a regular olympic bar as shown in the picture, but there's absolutely zero information on the website. Just thought I'd check on here before I get a chance to head to their shop.

Looks good. If you're near Sandford in Dublin, Irish Lifting may be cheaper if you pick up - http://www.irish-lifting.com/product_info_equipment.php?products_id=259{2}72

What are you lifting at the moment? Depending on that, you may outgrow a 140kg set pretty quickly on Deadlifts.

I might just go for Irish Lifting then...

My DL is at 140 right now, but I can't find sets for over 140kg. I was thinking of just getting the odd 20kg plate for my birthday and occasions (they're bloody expensive).

Elverys is right beside me though, so if that was good quality it would be handy. Plus it's black!

In that case, you'll probably want to buy a couple of 25kg plates along with the set.

I bought my set from here. Delivery is 42 pound - regardless of weight. Ask for a discount if you are buying from here.

That'd be perfect without the shipping. I think it'd work out cheaper (for what I'm buying) from irish lifting. I can only afford the set by itself at the moment. That's a good site though. Squat stands for fairly cheap.

Yeah, in fairness, mine 235kg set came in a package with a squat rack and bench so the postage didn't really have too much of an impact. It does for smaller orders though.

Jesus, that's some weight. Fair play. Anyway thanks for the help. I'll go for irish lifting.

It is a lot of weight and it wouldn't surprise me if I never hit it.... just good to know I'll probably never need another plate (although I hope I do) :D
