Why not? M203 is mostly for looks anyway, Some peple do not like peq boxs? Of it is front wired it is a simple option, people used to diy it a lot when I lived in the uk, as lipos where not an option at that point you could fit a large battery in the m203 and last all day

I've modded two M203's into battery compartments for people. It's a fairly elegant solution if you don't like PEQ's and have no other battery option.

Hmm, doesn't look like a bad idea actually. I had to but a S-system RIS on my M4 for the battery as it was front wired and I wanted to keep the battery in the front while having a RIS.

I could have gotten a slimmer RIS like originally planned. But the only PEQ box I could fit my battery into was the PEQ-2 (I think that's the one) which isn't to my tastes. I'd much prefer a PEQ 15/16 as I like they're looks and some laser versions have battery comparments too but they were too small

Ever since I installed a mosfet there's less space for the battery in the RIS plus I wouldn't mind something on the bottom rail (regular foregrips don't work with the overall look) so this might be an option to consider.

Anyone got an idea on price?

Also, what's that thing about air cocking one shot? Probably terrible quality but might be a good way to scare/humiliate someone in CQB haha :P
