Can anyone recommend a nice gaming laptop on a budget of around €1500 euro.
Can maybe go an extra 200 but would rather not ;)

Alienware is a no go. Paying for a name before anything there I guess.

ASUS is probably the best I'm seeing but I just wanted to throw the question out there.. :)

Also anyone wanna throw out some good sites to buy from please?

    Much appreciated :)

You should also look at the HP DV6 range. Some of them are available with the ATI 6770 and a sandybridge core i7. Plenty of power there.

the MSI G780R looks good http://www.msimobile.com/level3_productpage.aspx?id=311. Dunno if its out here though, can only find US retailers selling it and you would be seriously caught for customs buying something like that. The Asus G74 is worth a look too. Both have 15.6" versions too if you think the size is too much.

For that kinda price you should also check out http://www.kobaltcomputers.co.uk/ and http://eurocom.com/. Both would make a serious machine, easily rivals anything by alienware anyway but you'll pay well looking at their prices. The sizes/weights too mean they are closer to desktop replacement then laptops.

http://www.notebookcheck.net/ has good reviews for everything that matters really.

I wait for the day we'll have a the perfect mix of power (both cpu and gpu) at a low weight/heat :) (a man can dream...)
