    Parish politics at their extreme.

I wonder how many of the 117K kilometers were claimed in mileage allowance.

The Healy Raes are famous for attending conferences anywhere (the further from Kerry the better)

Edit Kildare St Dublin to Killarney = 305 kms each way = 600 kms round trip.

    117,000 / 600 = 195

I wonder did he own the car from new and did he claim for attending Dail Eireann more than 195 times since 2006. This does not even allow for any private mileage.

Maybe someone from the C&AG's Office or some other watchdog might have a look at his claims for this period. It would be sweet to see him caught on something as small as this

Well the phone number is his alright (a quick google shows the same number recorded for him in other places) so I'd say it's either for real or a piss take - but I don't think it's a scam...

Probably every one of those miles. Is that the car he used for "work"? If so there should be about 100k more miles on that car. All TD's and the like do huge mileage.

Anyone else notice how dirty the driver door card is, or even the driver seat?

Typical "price not specified" sh1t from him too.
Some eejeit will end up paying an inflated price for it because it was Jackie s car no doubt.

Is it usual in Kerry to count the boot lid as a 5th door?

What benefit is there posting his sons mobile numbers directly on this thread? If they are on his website why post them here then? If people need them they can find them themselves.

The only one I can see is the hope that someone might prank them. And that is going too far in my book as this does not concern them at all (if indeed the ad is even genuine).

Brylcreem. Google it, then think about it:

    1. Scratch head. ( Notice that I did not say hair - I believe in letting that sit).

    2. Scratch arse.

    3. Open door.

    4. Sit (sic) in car.

    5. Close door.

    6. Repeat ad nauseam (or at least 1,200 times, whichever is more believable).

    7. Habemas papam (white smoke good).

    8. Do not pass go, do not collect your lump sum gratuity, go straight to helm and province (soz, wrong forum/thread

    )

Healy-Rae was notorious for using the train to get to Dublin, then claiming mileage allowance for the journey. Seems you don't have to move the car to get the allowance......and of course he paid nothing for the train because he is an OAP.

Thread has descended to (hopefully drunken) nonsense and Healy-bashing. Not really Motors related.
