HTC Sensation - problem with delivery reports

Can someone help me out with this please? I want to get delivery reports but I get this popping up for every message I sent. It also makes a sound too which I don't want either.

Where am i missing the option to turn this off while still having delivery reports?

I asked the same question, an annoying change HTC made

Afaik you need to install a diff messaging app to get it how you want, I like the HTC messaging system though so I just put up with it unfortunately

If i understand you correctly, you want a little delivery icon beside each message, but not status bar notifications, and beeping. Same as myself, i've got it working by:

Open the messaging app, goto settings\notifications, and turn off "Sent" notifications.
Then goto settings\Text Messages, and tick delivery reports

you sure you wrote that correctly?

my settings are exactly the same as you have written and it still beeps when a text is received by the other party, and pops up on screen that it is received

I had this problem when I flashed a sense 3.0 ROM before.

Wrecked the head, had to change back to sense 2.0.

Not on sensation but still the exact same problem.

I have all notifications, Send & Receive, turned off in Messages. I use SMSPopup for my "Receive" notifications, it has no options for sent notifications, so i don't think it affects them?? Maybe it does in some way....
