Bed Wetting

    Hi,

I have a question about cleaning up a bed that's been wetted.
I looked online for tips on how to clean it up and so far have:

Dabbed vinegar and absorbed any residue with baking soda.
    Hoovered the soda off.
Washed with a detergent and dabbed again with water.
Applied a little urine stain remover I just bought this morning from a pet shop, washed it off let dry again after a few spritz of Febreeze.

I know it all seems like a jumble of tactics, I was literally just doing anything I could to try save the mattress.

Can any parents tell me, is this enough?
Should the mattress be ok now once its dried?

    Thanks!

That should be fine - I had a rubber sheet for the child but the dog peed on my bed once  and I cleaned it like that (and used a bit of hydrogen peroxide as well) and it came up fine and no smell/residue etc..

You can open a black bin bag and put it under sheet for a quick and cheap solution to the problem!

should be enough, invest in a waterproof bed protector!
