Everytime I go to the hairdressers, they NEVER clean the dye off my face properly!! It's soooooo annoying!
I have a nasty patch around one of my ears and is quite noticeable!

I've tried scrubbing it with a cotton bud soaked in nail polish remover but it ain't shifting...
I'm going on my hen party tomorrow!!

    Please!!
Someone here must have a tip to get rid of it...

    Thanks for reading.... (help)

Try an exfoliating scrub or an exfoliating face mask (something like a mud mask). And next time you have your hair dyed make sure you moisturise your skin alot just before going to the hairdressers then the dye won't stick to the skin so much in the first place (doesn't help this time I know!).

    Washing up liquid!

Yep fairy liquid is the magic ingredient for everything. It can be used to strip the colour from your hair if its too strong so put a bit on a piece of cotton wool and try it

Did you ask Today FM too? I never listen but I turned on the radio and they read out this exact problem! :D

i usually mix a bit of sugar and washing up liquid together and use a corner of a facecloth

Thanks for all the replies! Yes I got onto the ray darcy show too!!
    I'm desperate!
A girl at work suggested jolen face bleach!
So if the washing up liquid doesn't work then I will try that.
    Thanks everyone!

I saw something designed for removing hair dye for face and neck etc in a pharmacy before but can't remember where, it might be worth ringing a few places.

Ring the beauty supply store if you have one near you and I always find that the smaller chemists are more likely to sell those niche products rather than the chain stores.

any beauty / hairdressers wholesalers sells dye remover. also cigarette ash is supposed to work if rubbed in (haven't tried that one myself as I've the dye remover) HATE it when the hairdressers don't remove any blotches of dye.... alternatively go back to the hairdresser & get them to clean it up with dye remover as it's their fault in the first place

I dye my hair a blue black colour and cigarette ash is the ONLY thing that gets the stains off my face/ears/neck!

The place I go to uses barrier cream before they apply colour. You could ask them next time if they have any, they should do.
