You have to remove the speed sensor to fill them..

Too late to tell you now but if there's one piece of advice when changing gearbox oil it's always, always, always open the fill nut first as sometimes it can be a right pain to open and can mean your car has the old oil out and your unable to get the new stuff in for some time.
