Dreambox to pc then to iphone.

    Hello guys as the title says I want to connect my dreambox to my pc then to my iphone.

    The box I have is a DM500. I have an iphone 3gs but wwil be switching to an iphone 4.

    I will be attaching it to a wifi usb so it can transfer wirelessly to my iphone/pc.

    How do I go about doing it ?


    Will the connection to my iphone/pc use internet usage ?

    Can i view random channels on both my iphone/pc without it being the same on the dreambox e.g sky sports new on iphone sky movies on pc ?

    Do i need to have a super pc for the dreambox to work on it ?

    Dreamview app is fine to use on the iphone to watch from the dreambox. You can only watch the same channel unless its something you have recorded to your pc from your dreambox. You will use internet on both pc and iphone. You dont need a super pc. unless its a dm500s hd you wont be able to use a wifi usb on it. the standard dm500s only allows for an rj45 ethernet connection either through a powerline adaptor, fixed line or ethernet bridge. hope this helps.

    Is there a way to bypass watching the same channel on your pc/iphone at the same time.

    unless you have a box with 2 tuners then afraid not. the dm500s has the one tuner so just one channel at a time.
