My partner's elderly Dad is recovering from a bad leg injury and a skin graft from his thigh. Can anyone recommend a pressure relief cushion (also would this prevent bed sores if possible?) for when he's sitting up in bed or on an armchair. And where would stock them? Thanks for any help.

Seat cushion in bed is not a good idea and wouldn't help with pressure problems in his heels, ankles, elbows, ears and everything inbetween.

You could/should get in contact with his Public Health Nurse, a referral should have been sent from the hospital he was a patient anyway. They should be able to point you in the right direction. If he has a medical card he should have some entitlement towards it as well. If, for some reason you don't want to go down that route, google your thread title with Ireland at the end and it will give you a few options but he should definitely get a professional opinion.
