Am I right in thinking that we are currently GMT+1 and so we don't retain greenwich mean time all year round?

What is WET (western european time) and how does it differ from GMT?

What dates do we switch to and from GMT?

    Thanks.

    WET is GMT

British Summer Time (BST) is in effect until Sunday 30 October 2011 01:00 GMT. The UK clocks are back on Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) from 01:00 GMT Sunday 30 October 2011 until 01:00 GMT Sunday 25 March 2012.

Hope that helps, i would imagine the links would contain practically everything you need to know

Where I work we also use Zulu time which is recognised internationally. I think it is one hour behind us at the moment although as I personally don't use it I am not 100% sure.

Yes I use Zulu time at work as well:) Zulu is the same as GMT or actually it is now known as UTC and is one hour behind BST. We will revert back to UTC in October when the "clocks go back":)
