    Hi,

I've signed up for a triathlon. The run will be on sand.

Does anyone know some good places to train on sand in Dublin or surrounding areas?

Are there any long stretches of sand around?

    Cheers,

    Eoin

Dollymount on the northside is about 3 miles long, all sand

Sandymount Strand at low tide should be big enough!

There's no sand in Sandyford by the way. ;)

Dollymount Stand/Bull Island has plenty of dunes also.

Take the 130 bus out the coast and hop off at the wooden bridge.
