Yep, those vouchers can be used in The party zone.

Just make sure that you give the till operator the voucher when you pay. You'd be surprised how many people forget :o

"Cannot be used on Garden Sheds, Electric Showers, Large Appliances, Lawnmowers, Garden Powertools, Powertools or the purchasing of Gift Cards/Vouchers."

    Nothing about Garden Furniture there.

Nice one, I am after winning a €500 giftcard for Woodies so this will make it go even further!

Also says cannot be used on special offers or during sale periods. Would that rule out using it for my paint ( dulux ) which is on reduded offer at the minute according to the website. Damn it if that's true :(

    B&W is fine

20% WILL come off the Party Zone stuff

If the Garden Furniture is in an existing promotion it will not give you another 20% IE there is a patio set reduced from 549 down to 349. you will NOT get an extra 20% off the 349.

Davehey79, what paint are you looking for?

I'm having a looksee here, most of the paint i can see is already 25% off anyway.

I'm checking up about the paint that is less than 20%, only a few colours of weathershield from what i can see.

Would that be the same as the Axa card - do they only give you that discount on non-sale items?

€100 further to be precise! :pac:

    €125 further !

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,061 ✭✭✭✭Thargor

    No. €100 further. 20% of 500 is 100.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16 CatMH

    No €125 off

€500 is the amount he will spend after getting 20% off so €500 is 80%
€500 divide by 80 multipy by 100 is €625 being the total cost of goods bought!

Edit: Thanks for the voucher btw, have my list done up for Woodies for this past month and have just being meaning to go in so this is great, cheers!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,061 ✭✭✭✭Thargor

If he brings €500 worth of goods up to the till and presents his vouchers he will pay €400, 20% off.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16 CatMH

yeah and he will still have €100 left on his voucher so he can get €125 more worth of stuff, bring it up to the till, get 20% off this ie €25 and then pay the €100 balance leaving nothing on his voucher. so in total he has gotten €125 off!!

Sorry shiverin, I couldn't resist it, I knew this would happen. But just to clarify, and be "precise", if the guy brings €625.00 worth of goods to the checkout and gets 20% discount he will pay €500, the value of his voucher.

Oh I know. You're 125% (;)) right. I just kind of derailed the thread a bit with what I thought was an innocent post.
