    Hi,

I have been working on a site for a while now have been fixing a few little front end problems.

My latest issue is with the logo. If you go to:

    www.thepopuparthouse.com/home.html

and look at the navigation area, the text used in the logo on the top left is quite dull. I want the letters to be whiter and crisper, not like the almost grey effect that is happening.

The size used is 62 x 60px and the font type in Helvetica Neue LT Std Ultra Light 25.

    Any suggestions??

Change your Anti Alias settings for type. It's the 'aa' icon generally found to the right of the font style on the top toolbar. It's probably set to None or Crisp - change it to one of the others. You've to be in the type tool with the text box selected to change.

Alternatively, it could be down to the color depth you've expected the .gif at

    What pixelcraft says.

If you haven't got the font properly in Photoshop, you can always add a small outerglow to the letters too in your graphics program.

First of the letters are to close together seperate them a bit using the settings in the Paragraph palette menu.

It is a picture on the site so before you save it off from photoshop you could add a filter such as an outer glow and colour it slightly darker than the background. this would make it more legible and closer to how you want it to stand out.
