Recent burglaries in Finglas South area

Just thought I'd mention this here, I was told by a friend about some burglaries around Finglas South area in the last week. Houses around Clearwater, Valeview, Gortmore and around Erins Isle were broken onto. He said over 20 were done, can't confirm this figure myself.

They are using fishing lines to hook up keys from the letter box or using a pole through the letterbox to push down the handle. The simple solution to this would be to keep keys out of sight and double lock the doors. I know this raises a problem in case of fire so keep the keys in an easy to get to place.

    Thanks

    JB
