Hi all, my brother in law has 10 of us booked onto a charter boat leaving Dunmore east next Saturday morning at 9:30 till 4.30. What I'm hoping to get here is advice on what to bring, what can we expect to catch, what bait, does anyone know any local area we can talk to the skipper about so hd thinks we're not total fools. All or any help would be great.

the skipper will have the rods and reels for hire, buy a couple of sets of feathers, and a couple of weights because you will be fishing over rough/snaggy ground, put a piece of mackerl on the end of each hook, you will catch mackerl, pollock, ling, cod, gurnards, pouting, wrasse. The small shop in dunmore sells tackle, there is also a shop in the harbour called hooks and lines,
