Or seen anyone lose it. I'm talking just snapping of all sudden over something trivial.

Michael Douglas in Falling Down would be a good example.

Don't so much as "lose it" but more of a nervous breakdown kinda thing. Used to be fairly constant, but I've gotten better this year.

Very almost had one today, stressful work!

I do have a fiery temper too, but only for good reasons. Best to never cross me.

And yes I have seen someone lose it before over not much. Left a sting on my cheek :(

I'd to break into a sweet shop this one time. Well, instead of a guard dog, they've got this bloody great big Bengal tiger. I managed to take out the tiger with a can of mace, but the shopowner and his son... that's a different story altogether. I had to beat them to death with their own shoes. Nasty business, really. But, sure enough, I got the M&Ms, and Ozzy went on stage and did a great show.

I thought I lost it, but then they changed what it was.

A friend threw some salt on me, a tiny satchet, and I flipped out and started punching him in the face til the lads broke it up. I don't miss being a teenager.

yep. I have. completely snapped at a friend over something fairly recently, and I think it really scared the crap out of him. I really apologized afterwards.

NO! I NEVER F**KING LOSE IT! WHAT KIND OF F**KING QUESTION IS THAT?!? $#@€;%! +"*^($" NO CARRIER

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

    over something trivial you say?..no

It's always been provoked. Once in school I threw a girl across a room but this was after the screamed at me for 10 minutes, and another time a few years later I had a total meltdown in class but that was because my cnut of a teacher kept picking on me and I was fed up of it.

I find that nobody loses it over nothing, it's always been building up for a long time.

Yeah over nothing. Should have also said for a minute or longer. I think we're all capable of snapping at someone on our worst day. When I say 'lose it' I mean completely going into meltdown. Like thrashing a shop because they only have chilled bottled water, not water at room temperature :)

No, I very rarely, if ever, lose it. I feel sorry for people who get really angry over little things, it's one of the ways we distinguish ourselves from animals.

Just once. Playing football. I'd been kicked, niggled, pushed for about an hour and took it in good grace. Then I was cut down from behind.

I don't remember actually reacting but remember being hauled by two other blokes off the offender, and my hands around his throat. I wanted to kill him :o

I lost my temper hugely once. I still cringe when I think about it. It's one of the most embarrassing things a person can do to him/herself. It reflects terribly on them.

People who exercise no self discipline are essentially choosing to be weak. It's a cop-out. Now, I tend to make a caustic quip and go off, or say nothing and move away (depending on the circumstance). Generally, though, I don't lose my temper because whatever the problem is, it will pass. It's not worth it. Ah, experience.

Just the once. I'd a lot going on at the time and bottled it up and took it out on one of the lads in work.
I don't really get worked up at all these days.

That doesn't make any sense, animals don't get angry.

I was playing football on a sunday and this bloke was throwing elbows every few seconds. I saw red when he had the ball and i shouted out He's Mine and tore half way down the pitch and smashed straight into him winning the ball. I didn't see him for the rest of the game after :D
