Has anyone used the Torque app on Android (possible on iphone too)? You have to buy a OBD2 bluetooth dongle, connect it to the car and it communicates with your phone ..says you can run diagnostics etc..get BHP readings and loads of other stuff..

Is it any good, and would bhp readings be anywear near accurate!?

I have it with a galaxy s2 and an ebay obd adapter. I havn't really messed around with it yet bar a quick "does it work" and it seems to with regard matching data from the dash ie speed revs ect, It clears fault codes too although I havn't got any to clear!

I have read that some of the ebay obd2 adapters are hit and miss, and they vary in price a lot...I was thinking of this one:
    http://cgi.ebay.ie/BLUETOOTH-WIRELESS-Scanner-327-OBD-2-INTERFACE-SCANTOOL-/320735055355?pt=UK_Diagnostic_Tools_Equipment&hash=item4aad4c8dfb

Which one did you get? thanks

That is the exact one I got, however I have read on forums (for the same make and model of car as mine) that some people have bought that exact one and it has not worked

Sadly not iPhone too, iPhone needs a WiFi dongle which is much more expensive. I plan on grabbing a cheap Android tablet to use with the BT Dongle (which I already have!).

I'm looking up on ebay which ODB adapter to buy to match my Galaxy S2 - I read as well that some of them do not work. The link you guys posted is no longer active, would you have an (ebay) name of a seller of adapters that worked?
