Google Homepage

    I must have done something wrong, but why does my Google homepage look suddenly different, it has a black band across the top where the 'Web/Images/Maps options are? I tried to 'print screen' and 'paste' a picture of it into this post to show what its like but it didn't work so I'm doing that wrong too. Need advice please.

    No you did nothing wrong (also why did you put two threads on this subject here?).

    Google rolled out the black banner for their Google Plus integration. You're going to have to stick with it.

    Boards is double posting randomly if you happen to press return key for a new thread at the moment the database is having a wobble.

    Just went to Bing homepage because of Google auto complete. (really annoying)

    You know you can turn that off or install the google toolbar or depending on the browser you're running you can search from the address bar? Bing is a terrible search engine in comparison.

    Tried turning it off but you must enable cookies and I dont like that.
    Will try google toolbar.

    how do you turn off the black bar under FF 5 on vista
    Is this safe

    edit used it and got rid of black bar
    edit the number of results of the search which is under the search bar move up and was supeimposed on the search so disabled the script
