    hi guys

i recently bought my first cheap car, all is well.. few things wrong with it that need done all the same. one is the windscreen wiper motor is gone and just doesn't work full stop so needs to be replaced as the previous owner told me it died being used on fast mode one day. any body know the cheapest place to get this replaced?

also anywhere that can do deals as its an old car id like to get a service done and all that jazz and im pretty new to all this so was thinking

    windsor motors 69 euro service
    https://www.windsor.ie/special_offer_details.aspx?so=4

    their 25 euro check
    https://www.windsor.ie/special_offer_details.aspx?so=4

    or something like the AA
    http://www.aaireland.ie/AA/Vehicle-Checks/AA-Car-Servicing.aspx

    but its pricey.

basicaly i know i need new tires soon but besides that i just know that it runs ok. anywhere that does these at a good price or even an individual on this who can! funds are exteremty tight!

Wiper motor went in my Octavia in January. Quoted €190 plus VAT for motor, and €310 plus VAT for motor plus linkage (labour on top of this).

Got motor and linkage for €60 from a scrapyard, and an hour fiddling under the bonnet myself had the job sorted.

Only awkward part was actually getting the new motor and linkage into place under the scuttle panel.
