Hullo, I have an issue with an Alfa 166 have been working on. The engine management light was illuminated and I deleted the fault codes (pertaining to mixture control) becaue it was going for the test. It passed no probs, and so far the light has stayed off and no more codes have been logged. The problem is, the car (according to the customer) now is running with less performance. It has a sportstronic gearbox.
Im wondering whether by erasing the fault codes, ive also erased its learnt values and how long will it be until the car is back to normal in terms of running performance. Has anyone had a similar experience Id like to hear about it?
