    Hello.
Another new problem with radiators that you might find interesting.
I have had this problem for a long time. My rad in the hallway never did heat up properly’ so just this week I decided to replace it with a new one. When I was draining the system there didn’t seem to be much water coming out from the system. Any how I put the new one in and let the tank fill up. I bled the new rad until water came out. Then turned on the heating. But now I don’t get any heat from the new one. All the other rads are fine. (Did open outlet rad on right) Just included photo of my piping
    . System is oil fired.

blockage in the pipe or rad valves is the only possibility so , as long as your sure the rad valves are open fully

If its a new rad and assuming its plumbed correctly then there is most likely a blockage in your line.

If it were me i would turn the rad on and follow the pipe back till it heats up. Here abouts usually lies the blockage but this is not accurate all the time.

The system may just need balancing, turn a couple of your larger rads off and see if the problem rad heats up and count the number of turns.

Turn off all the other rad, this might kick start the circulation to the new rad.

I Drained the system out again. I then bled the rads from upstairs. When I got to the last (the new one) It started to get hot. But this is the strange thing. It was getting nice a hot and then started go cold. I noticed the hot water was coming in from the right side. the left side inlet pipe was still cold. So now I thinking have the inlet and outlet valves been put on the wrong way. All the other rads have the inlet on the right.
The old rad I took off had the same problem' It would start to get hot and then go cold. When I put my hand to the outlet pipe it is very hot a first' then to warm. Im stumped whit this one.
