    Hi everyone

I'm currently conducting research into public awareness of testicular cancer (TC) and the knowledge and information available on self examination (TSE). The main questions that I hope to answer are:

    1. Whether magazines and social media play a significant role in the awareness of TC and TSE

    2. If information is passed on via partners/friends and family

    3. If there is an awareness of public campaigns of TC, and if it is perceived that there is an adequate amount of information available about TC.

To this end, I have put together a survey, and I would really appreciate your responses in relation to on how information on TC and TSE is promoted within print media and social networking sites.

You can find the survey HERE

This survey is completely anonymous and is nice and short (25 questions, most of which are in simple "yes or no" format, although you have the option to give additional information if you feel it would be beneficial).

It’s open to both men and women, as many initial discoveries of potential lumps are found during sexual encounters or mutual examination arrangements, and articles have been published in both male and female orientated media relating to TC.

I would really like to thank anybody who takes part in this, I feel that this is an under-researched topic, so any responses that you can provide will hopefully lead to increased awareness and better campaigns in the future.

The dissertation will be published and available online in early 2012, so you'll be able to see the overall outcome and final result, and if you have any questions about the dissertation itself, or about any of the questions asked, please pm me and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

    Thanks!
    Jean

I've cleared this with Sam34 and tbh to post.
