Rost spots under window panel - "paintdoc" recommendation for Dublin?

    Hi everyone,

I have recently noticed that the car I got in November last year has some rusty spots. I didn't notice them when I bought it, but I might have overlooked it.

It's an 02 red c-class sport coupe and the rust spot is on the black panel that runs along the bottom side of the side windows and is right where the door shuts. It is on both sides of the car.
The rust has not broken through just yet, I see bubbles underneath the paint.

Can anyone recommend like a paintdoctor for Dublin?

    Cheers!

A Mercedes from when the accountants nearly fcuked the company !!!

Check to see if the panels have not been repaired in the past. If they have not then try Mercedes for warranty repairs.

Whatever about the initial 3 year manufacturer’s guarantee there should be a much longer guarantee against rust/corrosion.

How would I find out if they had been repaired before? It looked untouched to me before I noticed the rust. I'll see what I find out about the warranty thing. Thanks!

Mercedes were pretty good about repairing this stuff if the car had full mercedes history. Worth a try with them.
