August 2011 - The Kiel Cup - NASRPC National Competition

The National Association of Sporting Rifle & Pistol Clubs
will hold a National Competition in

BRC Shooting Club, Co. Dublin
on Sunday 21st August 2011

Disciplines:

• 50m Sporting Rifle (Prone) (2 Cards)
• 100m Sporting Rifle (Prone) (2 Cards)

The Match will also include the Kiel Cup.

The National Silhouette Association of Ireland will also be holding
a National Competition in BRC the same day.

Kiel Cup Format

The Kiel Cup is an Interclub team competition.
Clubs may enter as many teams as they wish

Teams will comprise up to four competitors,
with best three scores to count.

Competitors may only compete as part of one team

The match will comprise of
2 targets of 50m Prone Rifle
20 Silhouettes
Giving a total possible score of 600 per competitor and a total aggregate score of 1800 per team.

(Please note: Should insufficient teams enter the match an individual competition will take its place)

(Please Note - Your 50m Prone score will be entered as your score in the 50m Prone National Competition also)

Entry Fee:

€10 Entry Per Competitor.
Note: 50% reduction for Pensioners, Full time students and the unemployed - only one discount applies

Note: Entry to the NSAI National is not included in this fee.

Please Note

All NASRPC Competitions are Open Competitions.

It is highly recommended that you pre-register for this match
To register send an email with your name, club and events to competitions@nasrpc.ie

Prior Registration of Club Teams for the Kiel Cup match is mandatory.
Please send an email with the club and team members to competitions@nasrpc.ie.

First shots will be at 10:00am.
Last shots will be at 16:00pm.
Awards will be presented at at 17:00 (Earlier if completed)

Medals will only be awarded in classes where there are sufficient entries.

All Events will count towards the 2011 NASRPC National Championships.

Just a short reminder that The Kiel Cup is this coming weekend.

Registration of Teams
If you plan to enter the match or indeed have a team to enter in the Kiel Cup then please let us know - I have heard, informally, about a number of teams who have not yet registered for the event.

50m Prone Sporting Rifle
We wish to clarify that you will only be required to shoot the 50m Prone event once.

If so, this one score, will be entered as both your individual entry in the 50m Prone National and, if you are on a team, as your Sporting Rifle entry for the Kiel Cup.

If you are on a team for the Kiel Cup you may shoot the 50m Prone twice but your first score will be entered as the Kiel Cup team entry and your second as your National individual score.

100m Prone Sporting Rifle
Following some input from competitors it has been decided to defer the
100m Prone Sporting Rifle to another day as it would have been difficult to complete the events in the one day. As of the sending of this email there were no prior registrations for this event so we hope this does not inconvenience anyone.
