Are you talking about 'pumped' versus 'gravity' fed?

the main factor determining whether you need to use a pumped system is all dependent on the levels of your site ie if you have to pump up at a percolation area from the treatment system.
If you dont have to pump then a gravity fed system, properly installed, is fine.

i have to pump up from my treatment system to my bed anyway, but it will be going to a distribution box at the bed and then gravity flow from that. i could also use a pressurized system http://www.**********.html . water pumped at high pressure from treatment system to a manifold at the pipe work and then all the bed is saturated at the one time ensuring an even spread of water compared to the gravity flow which could saturate one area more than the other if in time the ground settles and theres more of a flow to one pipe than the other. See Gravity ----> http://www.**********.html

    hi feistman,

i guess this is a case of spending a bit more for better peace of mind.
Fair enough of your budget can stretch there.

As far as i would be concerned, if the system is properly designed, installed and maintained.... in accordance with current regulations and best practise.. i should expect that it would work as it should.
