Just bought the Nokia 2220 as I wanted a plain straightforward no gimmicks phone. Put my Tesco sim card in which works fine. I have read through the manual which isn't very comprehensive and one thing I cannot find related to a "E" icon on the display which I have no idea what it is. I have the signal strength, battery…

E is the 'Edge' symbol.
