This is kinda embarrassing, I had a one night stand (I swore I'd never do them but it just happened) with a guy I think is Handsome, I mean I drool for him.
And I'd like to ask him out on a date but I've no idea how to even talk to him, I'm new to all this and honestly I'm terrified.

Also it was three months ago so I'm afraid it's too late.

We're Facebook friends but either he doesn't used it a lot or he blocked me from seeing a parts of his profile cause his profile is bare. And we never talk. Its a friend of a friend thing.

Could anyone give me advice should I Facebook message him asking 'Do you want to go on a date" or is it too late?

Also if ye are feeling really generous any advice on how to ask him out?

    Sorry for the trouble.
    Thanks. icon_biggrin.gif

    Go for it!

I'd personally say 'Up for a few drinks?" or something, avoiding the word 'date' as that would be awkward maybe, given the situation? (not talking in ages).

hmm I'd wait until I seen him a few times afterwards to really see how its going i.e if he seems interested , if you're still interested and if you genuinely want to spend time with him . asking him out after an ONS might seem a little rushed

Just keep it casual - if you have his phone number then just text him for a drink / coffee.

if you know him through a friend, why not ask the friend for advice. Maybe your friend could arrange it so that the three of you went for a drink, that way you'd get to talk to him in person. Nothing beats the personal touch.

Great advice guys, the drinks idea is very good hadn't thought of that (see why I need advice).
Unfortunately no one I'm friends are his friends, now that I think about it, it is a friend of a friend of a friend deal. I really fall for the worst.

I would say something to him but I'm afraid that people would gossip about it, there are no secrets in the LGBT.
So I think I'll wait until we meet up with friends and then I'll try to talk to him for a bit, judge it from that.
Memo to self: no more ONS: get the number and go on a date and take it from there. :)

Thanks lads, owe ye a pint ;)

If it were me, I'd ferret away and find a common interest, or an interest which I could make up into a common interest. Then I'd contact him and tell him I'd been given some tickets for (fill in whatever event etc is your common interest) and ask him if he'd be interested. That seems casual and unthreatening enough, without making him run a mile.

Maybe he plays bridge. Or fishes. Or likes action films, It should be easy enough to find out what sort of things he likes.
