    hello hope im writing in the right section here , just wanted a bit of advice on weight training. dumbells to be percise. i bought 18 kg dumbells and am planning to tone up my upper body, three things I want to know is

    How often should i train a week?
    How many excercises should i train each body part?
    And Is 18 kilos a sufficient weight to train with

    Depends on your goal, if by tone up you mean "lose some weight and generally tidy up the shop" then, higher reps lower weights is generally seen as the way to go.
    TBH I'd probably go with a general 3 Sets of 8 on whatever exercises you had in mind. Press ups are great for all over upper body too.
    If you've not trained before, keep it simple and do the compound exercises (chinups/pullups/press up) then use your dumbells for bicep/tricep and military press for shoulders and back.

    Don't overlook the lower half either. Do some lunges/dumbell squats.

    Something like Upper body Monday and Friday, Lower on Wednesday and throw in some cardio in the middle.

    There's a million different ways to approach it, just get on and get started!
    You'll tweak and tune when you get the hang of things/mix things up a bit :)
