    Hi,
Just wondering if it's possible to receive Soarview through a satellite dish.
I've an 80cm dish with 3 lnb's (Astra 28, Hotbird & other one idle at present) which are fed into a disceq switch (4 inputs, one output. The output is fed down into living room into Technomate 6800HD box.

I pick up the Irish channels but they're scrambled.

If I get a Saorview box, is it possible to receive the Saorview channels through the dish? I've no aerial at present

    Any info would be appreciated

    Thanks
    S

Saorview = Digital terrestial ie. through an aerial; Saorsat= Digital satellite i.e. through a dish. Never the twain shall meet I'm afraid. You need an aerial to get Saorview via your box.

If you hang on a few months, there should be LNBs for Saorsat available. I'm hoping to add 9E to my 13E/19E/28E setup on an 80cm dish when they're available. Your receiver will be able to handle it.
