    Hey there,

I'm looking for an android tablet to buy. Would rather it be on the latest firmware or at least a custom rom out for it that will let me be on the latest.

Also I would love for it to do flash, am I asking too much at that price range though?

I was gonna get the 50 euro epad but decided to put a bit more money into it as it will probably be something I use allot.

    Any suggestions?

Have a look through this thread for a few ideas. Bear in mind how quickly things change in the tablet market though.

If I had your budget and was goign to buy a new tablet, I'd probably go for something like the Archos 10.1 G9 which I think will retail at 250 euros when it's released next month.

Bought the vega today, last one in stock, was well happy :D

Fantastic tablet. Gonna give it the old once over now and install modaco.

    Also have a look here.

I am running Cyanogenmod on mine and runs fine for what I want it for.
Modaco is a good rom but I found it to be too like stock and wanted something different.

Vegacomb apparently runs pretty well. Why not give that a look?

I was going to look at that but the part that turned me off and might the OP too.
Flash player doesn't work in apps or in the default browser (Opera Mobile only!)

Yeah I seen that and it was a no way straight away. have modaco on it now running good, real bad viewing angle on the tablet is the only bad thing i can say about it. Worth 250 bucks though by a mile!
