Musical electrician needed?

Hi all.

I own an Ovation Magnum II. (Here's the owners manual)
I want someone to replace the scratch plate that's attached to the circuit board (I have a replacement), do a general tidy up as it's a little scratchy when you change the EQ, a set up and if it's possible, limit the power coming out of the bass (it's run off two 9v batteries and sounds a bit cr*p coming out of cheapo, but, what I expect at gigs, amps.) Thing is, I don't know who to go to in Dublin.

I had the guy from South Circular Road attempt to set it up and clean the electronics, and he broke the scratch plate on me and didn't do a great job on the clean up of the electronics. I ended up having to borrow a bass for the recording I was doing.

I love this bass and want to give it the best treatment. So I'm asking you muso's, who can I trust with it?

I would say to bring it to Derrick Nelson. I've found him to be quite good with electronics.

Just got off the phone with them. They should be able to do it alright. They just had one in and replaced the old preamp with one they built themselves. Sweet

So, it'll be around 150 so I'll have to save up/ sell a guitar or two
