Piercings after heart operation

    Sorry i don't know if this is the right place to put this, i put it on the piercing and tattoos forum but the mod's told me to but it hear

    i had a heart operation when i was 4, i'm now 16, i'm wondering if this would effect me in the future in that it would stop me from being able to get piercings

    i had two holes in my heart, both are repaired but i have a murmur

    i'll give more info if/when needed

    thanks to anyone that can give any help

    You should really ask your GP or consultant if you have one.

    going to the GP is 50 euro, and i'm not seeing my consultent til this time next year though

    Call your GP's surgery or call and ask to speak to your cardiologist.

    If you are at any health risk at all from having piercings then this isn't the appropriate place to be seeking advice.
