ACA - course enrolment

    Hi,

I am starting with one of the Big 4 in September and I just noticed on the CAI website that the course enrolment forms for 2011/2012 are available and that the closing date is the 1st of Sept.

I was just wondering if the firm fills this out or if the student does? I haven't received any info on this from the firm I am going to be working with. I'm going on holidays next week and return immeadiately before the deadline so it could be tight. I plan on emailing the firm on Monday and asking them anyway but was just wondering if any current ACA students can remember?

The form also looks for a letter confirming exemptions but I haven't received this yet. Does anyone know when we should get the letter?

    Thanks.

I'm starting in Deloitte soon and I received a form to apply for any exemptions back in May. I had to post it back to them with the relevant info before the end of July.

I assume the firm will enrol each person as it is the firm who are paying for the course. I would ring HR before you go on holiday and check with them. Just to be on the safe side

If I was you I'd follow up on the exemptions at this stage. From my experience the firm looked after all the enrolment forms etc, before we had even started in training contract..to put your mind at ease there would be no harm in confirming with HR..
