40+ year old barbershop wrecked by riots

    I just spotted this on Gizmodo, an 89 year old barber running a proper barbershop had the place wrecked in the riots. It's sad to see small businesses like this brought to their knees. There seems to be a project going know to fix his shop and get him open again which is amazing.

    Serious amount of handwringing apologists. Darcus Howe says it's ok.. valid and all that lark.

    Online talking to a person that works in the 'back end' at Carphone Warehouse, UK. Delighted that they're putting some work into making sure just about every phone looted will be a paperweight.

    Yeah it seems there is a big push for them to do that alright based on what I've seen.
