With the new footie season tomorrow - going to switch on Sky Sports + ESPN pack (€34 a month as far as I know). Better value these days with ESPN but still pricey!

Before I make the call, has anybody tried to negotiate a discount with them???

Always worth a try but I think you may have had more joy if you'd tried in June/July.

Not on the eve of the Premier League starting.

I currently pay €20 for just SSports 1. Noticed though in the last while that a lot of the EPL matches are on SS2 so was going to look what is on offer these days.

What are the latest offerings from Sky for the sports? Wife says the deal with espn is just for 2 months only

Ring SKY and ask is the best policy, methinks the wife just doesn't want you watching too much sport by telling you that ESPN free is for only 2 months;)

The ESPN deal is 'forever'.This is exclusively for ROI viewers-the UK just got 3 months.:D
