Personally, I couldn't care less because I never buy PPV; if its on terrestrial TV I watch it, otherwise I'm at the fight or watching a stream.

As for the impact on the sport as a whole, its hard to say what the repercussions will be.

Its a good thing. They need to get entertaining fights to the fans for free (or with a sky subscription at least) and build up to an impressive ppv that is a cut above the rest.
Khan-Mayweather if that comes off would be ideal. That would be Huuuuge in the UK and im sure Khan could iron out his differences with sky. Itd still be big on prime time but so many people had bother ordering the judah fight so dunno how theyd cope with a mega fight.

    im not surprised at all

personally, i bought every ppv going, well, i wouldnt pay to watch Khan, i just think he's an imposter, but i bought all the Haye fights

i was happy enough with the Klitscho one, but the Audley Harrison one was a joke,

isnt there rumours abound that theyre actually pulling out of boxing all together?

perhaps ESPN will jump in here, they do already show a massive amount of boxing in the US, so why not over this side of the pond

With Barry Hearn having such a good relationship with Sky - darts and snooker as well as Prizefighter, which by all accounts is a success - there's zero chance of Sky pulling out of boxing, and if anything it just means that they'll have better fights on Sky Sports.

The mayweather ortiz fight has gone straight to primetime ..... 15 brick

They show the "Friday Night Fights" and don't mention boxing anywhere else on their schedule. Wouldn't even give a result out on Sportscentre

ESPN UK shows 'Friday night fights' live BTW

i only noticed that last weekend,

i then set my box to record the Cintron fight, but i then went and unplugged the box before i went to bed, doh!!!

i see Groves has now signed with matchroom sports aswell.

here's hoping Sky f**k Warren off and put their faith behind Eddie Hearn.

if im not mistaken espn boxing season is over after last night. and as the tiime zones in america differ from state to state the fights are not always aired at the same time so a saeries link never worked for me but that was upc not sky.

I have paid for a few PPVs in the past, I d'ont mind doing so as Sky give good coverage.

If Khan wants to keep losing out thats his problem.

Am I the only person who saw irony in the following statement!?

Most of their PPV's were pants anyways... I can honestly saw I've felt let down about 80% of the time that I've paid for a ppv over the last few years. Even the events I went to I've had terrible luck with, Willie Casey vs Rigo and Andy Lee vs. Thiam stand out the most. :(

Get decent cards going on sky sports please, then charge for the major fights on ppv, not the crap Audley Harrison versus another bum fights.

Khan-Haye? To me there is only one imposter here.

I'm still scratching my head at this one....you bought Haye Harrison yet think Khan is an imposter!!! I can't knock you for not paying for Khan as none of his fights have been PPV worthy yet (and i love watching Khan) but i'm just wondering how the hell you got sucked into paying for the Haye Harrison fight if you think you can spot an imposter?

Definitely not quite getting the logic behind supporting Haye but yet thinking Khan is an impostor.

Kahn's fight vs Maidana was worthy IMO, that was a great fight.

That wasn't PPV though. His early hyped up fights and his last against McCloskey were.
